The situation for our climate and environment is dire. And we both know that it’s only getting worse.
Native forests are being logged, critical habitat is being destroyed, our wildlife is going extinct and the planet is warming as the big polluters keep approving new coal and gas projects.
Something has to give before our iconic wildlife like the koala, greater glider and swift parrot are lost forever.
Labor was elected with a mandate for climate action. Instead, they have now teamed up with the Liberals to gut our environment laws.
They have sided with big coal and gas corporations – while species disappear and native forests are destroyed.
Meanwhile, the Liberals remain just as committed to coal, gas, and environmental destruction, offering no solutions – only delay, denial, and the fantasy of nuclear power.
We can't keep voting for the same two parties and expecting a different result.
We need more Greens in parliament to keep Dutton out and push Labor to act. With your support, we can work towards:
- Introducing a climate trigger: Ensuring all fossil fuel projects are assessed for their pollution impact to safeguard our future.
- Stopping new coal and gas projects: Transitioning away from the expansion of industries driving record emissions and destroying habitats.
- Protecting native forests and critical habitats: Ending destructive logging and preserving the homes of our native wildlife.
- Investing in nature and biodiversity: Ensure at least 1% of Budget spending goes to protecting Australia's natural environment.
