Blak Greens
Established in 2017, the Victorian Blak Greens is a dedicated network for First Nations members of the Australian Greens Victoria.
We are First Nations-led and committed to strengthening the voices, rights and participation of First Nations peoples within the Greens, our countries and community.
Our purposes are to:
Champion the rights, voices and initiatives of First Nations peoples.
Provide a dedicated forum for grassroots consultation, connection and collaboration.
Strengthen support for First Nations communities and members.
Build meaningful relationships and enhance outreach between the Greens and First Nations communities across Victoria.
Membership of the Victorian Blak Greens is open to Australian Greens Victoria members who identify as First Nations peoples.
We welcome connection, conversation and participation from First Nations Greens members across Victoria.
