Our campaign teams are building big, bold and local campaigns over the next few years before we return to the polls.
Now is a very exciting time to volunteer with us! Together, we can get urgent action on climate change and tackle inequality by electing more Greens MPs into state and federal parliament.
Why volunteer with our movement?
- The Greens are a grassroots movement, our members and supporters lead our campaigns.
- We have a range of volunteer roles to match your passion, skills and availability. You can work from home, from the office, or out in the community. There is something for everyone - whether you have a lot of time or not much to spare, we need you!
- When you sign up to volunteer, we'll contact you to find out when you're available and what you're interested in. Conversations are the most powerful way to connect with people and shift perspectives on the issues we care about, and we can train you to do this on door steps, on the phone, at events, or at your kitchen table.
- We also need volunteers for data entry, office admin, ICT, editing and writing, graphic design, social media, event promotion, helping at events, photography and videography, craft and creative activities, cooking and catering, training others and being a buddy to new volunteers.
- Volunteering provides you with opportunities to learn new skills and make new friends, and we aim to make this environment as inclusive as possible. We'll find a way to make this work for you. Everyone is welcome and we can't wait to have you on board.
